Due to New Haven’s aging housing, 85% of New Haven homes are estimated to contain lead. To make homes lead-safe for children and families, we need more contractors to complete lead abatement projects. The City of New Haven Health Department is offering classes for contractors to become lead certified. Lead certified contractors can bid on lead abatement projects.
Subsidized classes at little to no cost to you!
Class | Who Needs It | Class Length |
EPA Renovate, Repair, and Paint (RRP) | Anyone performing work in buildings built before 1978 | 1 Day |
